Day 1 - 4, Palapye, Maun, OkavangoDelta
The first major attraction on this tour is the immense beauty and vastness of Botswana’s Okavango Delta. It takes the good part of two days to reach Maun the gateway to the delta, from Johannesburg, but the experience is well worth the effort. Spend one night camping out in the wilderness where experienced and knowledgeable ‘polers’ guide you through the maze of channels by mokoro - traditional dug out canoe, and by foot on a walking safari. For those wanting more adventure there is an opportunity to fly over the delta by small plane for a bird’s eye view of this natural wonder.

Day 5 - 6, Chobe National Park
Continue to the north of Botswanato the Chobe National Park where we camp on the banks of the ChobeRiver. The following morning enjoy an early 4x4 game drive in the park renowned for its vast herds of elephant, though there’s a good chance of also spotting antelope, hippo, lion and a number of birds including the African fish eagle. Spend the middle of the day relaxing by the swimming pool, before an afternoon game cruise on the Chobe River, that acts as a magnet to the park’s animals and you may see pods of hippo or a herd of elephant come down to the water’s edge for an early evening drink or bath. Watching a dramatic sunset from the boat is another of Chobe’s treats.

Day 7, Victoria Falls
A short drive takes us from Chobe to the town of Victoria Fallsin Zimbabwe where the tour ends. Ensure you arrange enough time at the end of your tour to enjoy all the activites centred around the Falls such as white water rafting, bungy jumping and gorge swinging, horse or elephant riding, and of course see the thundering Falls themselves.
