Day 1 - 3 Lusaka to Kafue NP
Begin this tour in Zambia’s capital city of Lusaka, and head for the remote Kafue National Park, Zambia’s oldest and largest park and one of Africa’s best kept secrets - this is untamed Africa at its wildest. The wetlands, forests and plains are the habitat for lion, leopard, elephant, and buffalo as well as many antelope and bird species, and the stunning Kafue Riveris home to a great number of hippo and crocodiles.

Day 4 - 5, Lochinvar National Park
We travel a short distance south to Lochinvar NP, situated on the Chunga Lagoon south of Lusakato see how animals can adapt and survive in this watery playground. Dominated by floodplains this area of unique beauty is home to over 400 bird species as well as numerous antelope including herds of the rare Kafuelechwe, only found in this region.

Day 6 - 8, Victoria Falls - Livingstone
Further south, camp on the banks of the Zambezi River at Livingstone, the perfect base to explore the fantastic Victoria Falls and enjoy the numerous adventure activities such as white water rafting on the foamy rapids beneath the falls, canoeing on the tranquil upper Zambezi, bungy jumping off the railway bridge that spans the Bakota Gorge, or take a ‘flight of the angels’ by small plane, helicopter or microlight for a dramatic view of the falls.

Day 9 - 10, Chobe National Park
From Livingstone, drive the short distance to neighbouring Botswanafor a visit to the unique Chobe National Park. The Chobe Riverflows through the park attracting some of the largest herds of elephant in southern Africa as well as numerous other game, and the best way to spot these is on a morning game drive followed by a relaxing and scenic afternoon river cruise. With luck you can watch the animals on the riverbank under an amazing sunset, and this is a memorable moment of the tour.

Back in Zambia head north to the Lower Zambezi Valley and Africa’s largest man made lake - Lake Kariba, where our serene camp overlooks the lake and is another perfect place for a superb African sunset. Spend the next two nights in a remote and spectacular lodge on the banks of the lower Zambezi, for a full day canoeing this mighty river in search of elephant, buffalo and birdlife.
