Day 1 London to Paris, France (option to join in Paris) We cross the English Channel to France by ferry and then pass the battlefields of World War 1 on our way to Paris. Tonight a "City Lights" tour. Day 2 Paris Time to explore Paris. The Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysses and Notre Dame Cathedral are ours to visit. Maybe a 'Fat Bike' bicycle ride around the highlights? This evening it's off for a traditional meal at a local restaurant before an optional Seine cruise or cabaret show. Bx1, Dx1 Day 3 Paris to Lucerne, Switzerland Superb scenery as we head to the Swiss Alps and stay in our to Lucerne. Lucerne is blessed with stunning scenery which is ours to take in today. Bx1, Dx1 Day 4 Lucerne to Florence, Italy A guided tour of Florence on arrival by a local guide is a great introduction to the priceless treasures of this city. Bx1, Dx1 Day 5 Florence to Rome Travelling south through beautiful countryside of Italy, we make our way to the capital city - Rome. Bx1 Day 6 Rome / Vatican City Our walking tour unveils the treasures of the Eternal City. There is plenty of time to visit some of Rome's famous monuments and the Vatican City. Bx1, Dx1 Day 7 Rome to Venice Today we travel north again stopping in fair Verona on our way to see the home of Romeo and Juliet before arriving in enchanting Venice. Bx1, Dx1 Day 8 Venice A vaporetto ride on the Grand Canal followed by a walking tour of many of the interesting sites are a part of the activities in Venice. An optional gondola ride will give you a feel for this great city! Bx1 Day 9 Venice to Salzburg, Austria Our next stop is the gorgeous town of Salzburg, where the hills are alive with the sound of music! Great skiing is available to ski enthusiasts as well. Bx1, Dx1 Day 10 Salzburg A day to enjoy the beauty of Austria in the winter! Bx1 Day 11 Salzburg to Heidelberg, Germany Heidelberg is home to Germany's oldest university and is still known primarily as a university town. Needless to say the nightlife is hot! Bx1, Dx1 Day 12 Heidelberg to Amsterdam, Netherlands On to Amsterdam, famous for its bikes, canals and liberal lifestyle. Bx1 Day 13 Amsterdam Our bicycle tour is a great introduction to Amsterdam as is our walking tour which takes in all the sights. Tonight there's a farewell dinner followed by an optional canal cruise. Bx1, Dx1 Day 14 Amsterdam to London England Roll on Belgium and the city of Brugge, home to over 300 different beers and the finest Belgian chocolates! Then it's back to London where it all started.
