Day 5/6/7 Gallipoli to Istanbul, Turkey

Day 8/9 Istanbul to Sofia, Bulgaria

On to Bulgaria's capital, Sofia. See historic cathedrals and churches dating back to the 4th century. Bx2, Lx1, Dx1

Day 10 Sofia to Bucharest, Romania

Visit the university town of Veliko Tarnovo today - the medieval capital of Bulgaria. Bx1, Lx1

Day 11 Bucharest to Brasnov, Romania

You'd be forgiven for thinking you're in Paris as Calei Victoriei - Bucharest's famous street, was modelled on Paris' promenades. Bx1, Lx1, Dx1

Day 12 Braslov to Cluj Napoca, Romania

Today we stop for lunch at Sighisoara, Dracula's birthplace. Tonight we stay at the vibrant university town Cluj Napoca. Bx1, Lx1, Dx1

Day 13/14 Cluj Napoca to Budapest, Hungary

On to charming Budapest on the Danube. There's plenty of time to stroll the streets, so go get exploring! Bx2, Lx2, Dx1

Days 15/16 Budapest to Vienna, Austria

Day 17/18 Vienna to Krakow, Poland

North to Poland and its spiritual home, Krakow. Also a sobering visit to the concentration camps of Birkenau and Auschwitz.

Day 23/24 Berlin to Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Day 25 Amsterdam to London, England
