Day 1 - 5, Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Cape Point, Garden Route
Start this comprehensive tour with a day’s visit to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Cape Point and an African penguin colony, before heading up the Garden Route exploring the winelands of Stellenbosch, Swellendam, Bontebok National Park, Oudtshoorn and the Cango Caves and an ostrich farm. After a scenic drive over the OuteniquaPassreach the coastal resort of Knysna, famous for its artists and oysters, and enjoy a seafood dinner. From here hike through the coastal forests of the rugged Tsitsikamma National Park and Storms River Mouth, watch the surfers at play on the super tubes of Jeffrey's Bay, and observe the many elephant in Addo Elephant National Park.

Day 6 - 11, Drakensberg, Lake St Lucia, Zululand, Kingdom of Swaziland
Head away from the coast into the ‘Barrier of Spears’, the Zulu name for the dramatic Drakensberg Mountains and enjoy some spectacular hiking, at the Tugela Gorge. Then to Zululandvia Durban, to the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve, famous for its large populations of black and white rhino. Explore the wetlands of St Lucia on the look out for crocodiles and birds and camp in the Malolotja Mountains in the Kingdom of Swaziland.

Day 12 - 14, Kruger NP, Mpumalanga
The next couple of days go in search of the
Big 5 in the Greater Kruger National Park, and view the various sights in the Panorama region such as the gold mining village of Pilgrims Rest and the awe-inspiring Blyde River Canyon.

Day 15 - 21, Kalahari Desert, Cape Town
Entering the Kalahari Desert our first game drive is in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, a new and remote park that is one of the largest and best protected in Africa. The game viewing is unrivalled here and this is a very special bush experience. After a visit to the Augrabies Falls National Park to see a fine display of white water as it tumbles over the rocks on the Gariep (Orange) River, our journey comes full circle finishing in Cape Town beneath the shadow of Table Mountain.
